⚠️ Beware – Hidden Charges and Poor Service I got hooked by their Instagram reel and engaged them for my house move. I was initially quoted $308, which sounded reasonable, so I agreed. Here was my experience: • Movers arrived 30 minutes late (9:30am). Not a big issue, but worth noting. • The main mover was extremely rude and argued with my wife when she asked him to cover the mattress before moving it. Instead, he dragged it on the dusty floor. • They initially said the items would fit in 1.5 loads, but then only took a few items. • They had hidden charges – apparently if they push luggage just outside the condo, they charge $140 per side, which added $280. • My agent was running late and they charged $150 waiting fee. So the final bill became $738 instead of the quoted $308. Moving is already stressful, especially with a baby, and this company made it much worse. I eventually called Lalamove, and the driver was far more helpful, transparent, and reasonable — no hidden charges and much better service. Would strongly advise people to be careful before engaging them.
