** Dishonourable and Extortionate **
Despite having quoted a fee after site inspection, they wanted to charge us $150 for moving marble table and $180 per load of distance fee, fees not mentioned in the quote. We even specifically asked about distance fee.
They quoted us 1.5 loads during inspection but told us we need 3 loads during the move. Their "estimate" was wide off the mark. We had only 30 boxes or so of stuff plus the usuals. Their lorry was also not empty and already loaded with their own stuff. In fact upon checking we found out they left plenty of empty space in lorry after loading our stuff.
They also falsely charged us distance fee at our new place when their surveyor specifically told us there would be none.
When we disputed the hidden fees, they raised their voice at us and spoke aggressively, threatening to send our items back to the old place.

I downgrded at end May, book service 1month early to make sure I am able to get my scheduled slot. I was glad the boxes were sent to me early and everything I need to move was packed into 12boxes with small furniture like chairs, shoe rack and coffee tables. On day of move the team came an hour late (I didn't say a word about their tardiness), the 2 young chaps were quiet workers but old uncle came and was throwing his anger everywhere at his team, my furniture and me. I only reminded him 2nd time, 1box had computer monitor since he didn't acknowledge the first time and he shouted back angrily that he knows how to do his job. I arrived at my destination and waited for them but they took very long despite the fact I was just moving from ubi ave 1 to circuit road (1mrt station away,3bus stops). Then they dump the stuff at my new place and quickly collect money, told me they didn't want the boxes and ran off asap. Only after I had to cut the wrapping I realized why they were so eager to leave. My shoe rack and big pail was totally smashed. I am not sure how the bottle of bleech can open by itself and pour itself over the box and plants but somehow it happened. The bottle of bleech was careless thrown among my things. I had to wash out what I can salvage and throw all the broken stuff and buy replacements.
Perhaps as a single woman downgrading
to smaller hdb where I am seen as low class and can be bullied. Perhaps uncle had a bad day and decided to take his unhappiness on everyone despite everyone cooperating smoothly that day. Whatever the reason, I still paid the money for the service and didn't deducted a single cent for moving 12boxes and handful of small furniture which barely took half the truck. So seeing all the so call good reviews for their 12move service, I wonder if they got friends to write for them. After using their relocation service, they don't deserve such high rating. So whoever wish to use their service going forward, be warned.
I receive 9 calls (1 min apart)right in middle of work day while I was in a crisis meeting and the other party didn't introduce himself or state his business and I hung up on a couple of the calls since the other side didn't even respond. Only one if the calls he stated my review that was when I was enlightened and told the called I no longer want to discuss. Subsequent calls were made which I rejected and later block the number as it seems that it's more a harassment and since I had spent money to fix the issues, there is no further discussion needed. What is there to discuss? I will not do business with this company anymore. It's that simple.

Big thanks to the sales person Darren and also Peter and his team. Without them the move will not be that easy. However they must improve on their timing. They were late close to 1h. Apart from that they are great. They know what they are doing.
