Terrible experience with this mover and it Feels Like a Scam!!! If you ever consider to engage them, be well prepared: 1. be prepared to pay at least 3-4 times more than what they have quoted to you. The tactic is to give you relatively lower fee quote and requested for deposit made before confirmation. when arrive on the day of move, they will tell you that your items require bigger lorry space. if you don't agree to upgrade, they are prepared to leave (of course) with your deposit. 2. be prepared to wait for them to come, the movers arrived one hour late than what they supposed to. 3. be prepared that they are not going to take your loose items even though it is well packed, all needs to be repacked in boxes. and always citing "additional charge to apply". 4. be prepared that they will call you just before arriving the new premise and tell you that additional fee for pushing will need to charge, otherwise they will not make the delivery. 5. be prepared that they may be trying to fame you for something you did not do. when you raised disagreement, they will suddenly come out a sentence "you are a human being, I am also a human being" from no context. (no doubt another tactic) 6. be prepared they will tell you they are the boss of the company, there is no use to raise any complaint to the customer service/the contact you have. 7....

I recently had a smooth moving experience, thanks in large part to Darren’s exceptional co-ordination. From the initial consultation to the final unpacking, Darren kept everything on track and well-organised. He communicated clearly and frequently, ensuring every aspect of the move was handled with precision. His attention to detail made a huge difference, and I felt confident knowing he was overseeing the entire process. The movers themselves were equally impressive. There were two hardworking individuals who took every step to make the move stress-free. They arrived on time, expertly dismantling and reassembling my bed and other furniture with ease. Their professionalism was evident in how carefully they moved the boxes handled everything, keeping each item safe from start to finish. The quality of the boxes they provided was another standout feature. Sturdy and spacious, they held up well and protected my belongings during transport. This attention to quality, right down to the packing materials, showed that they prioritise customer satisfaction at every level. on-site quotation by them was 3-3.5 trucks for all our items. In the end it was a full 7 trucks, double the quotation. Two objective reasons below and other personal thoughts further below to explain the 1 star. 1) underestimating the truck count and thus cost. They are the moving experts, actual cost should not be double of the their estimated cost (note this was an on-site review of our items) 2) truck space is poorly setup to fully utilise the space because of a bunch of their items cluttering the space to begin with. This is esp impt given they charge per truck and they reuse trucks. Personally other reasons not to engage them, i call this ‘personally’ only because I wasn’t thinking about capturing evidence and thus have none now. - atrocious customer service - at the new place they tell us oh you need to pay extra right now otherwise we will not move the rest of the items. Seems like a dirty tactic to underestimate cost at the start then ask you to pay up when we are already halfway through moving. - dishonest. trucks space only partially filled and even the movers seem to have incentive to only partially fill them up and quickly drive the items to the other location in order to add to the total truck count and thus to the cost - not the most considerate in moving, they just dump everything in the living room without care for walking space or anyone there. But I guess this is too much to ask of 12MOVE. Just leaves a bad taste in our mouth, not sure why they do business in such an unsustainable and non-long term way. They can’t possibly have any returning customers.
