TLDR; they quoted $388, and charged $1256 without justification when requested. They damaged the legs on our new Castlery couch and are unresponsive fix it. They showed up an hour late without communication - cancel your booking if you even already paid the deposit. This company doesn’t work ethically. I paid their fees for the moving permit and deposits, and they didn’t get the permit for our new unit. It only came to light when the truck showed up and we weren’t allowed to move in. They just said “sorry” and we were going to have to cancel the move until we paid the deposit ourselves (which is the whole reason we paid this company to complete the process). They moved a small one bedroom apartment and demanded two 5m trucks, which was completely unnecessary but they wouldn’t proceed without it. Management is now totally unresponsive to resolve the items damaged in the move. I wish I could go back and use another company instead - stay away.
