I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. The movers were extremely rude and unprofessional. They initially quoted a low price but later demanded additional charges. They didn’t honor the agreed booking timeslot and expected me to adjust to their schedule instead.
They called me an hour before my booking time slot (12-1pm) and expected me to be home earlier than planned. My expectation was for them to arrive around 12:30pm, but they called at 11am and told me to be home by 12pm. To make matters worse, they charged me additional waiting time fees even though this situation was caused by their poor communication. This feels like an unfair and deliberate attempt to take advantage of customers. I wouldn’t recommend their service.

!! Please read before engaging these movers !! Moved from a 2BR condo to another 2BR condo. Scope was ~25 boxes, 4-5 pieces of furniture including a tv, console, couch, dining table and king bed. This will cost you $1200+. Overall not recommended.
Cons
1. Did not disclose extra charges in initial discussion with sales rep. If you need "special handling" ie bubble wrap and being extra careful with things like TV or a mirror, it's extra $80 an item. We took photos of everything over WhatsApp for the initial quote over WhatsApp and this wasn't mentioned.
2. Very vulgar, rude and abusive to condo staff. Not all of the group - but 2 of the 6 men were not professional at all. Young hooligans who picked fights with 2 of the guards. Shouting profanities while arguing about how to use the mandatory padding for the lifts (refused to use and threw it to one side as per pic) - this resulted in me receiving a warning complaint from condo MCST management. If you are ok to risk losing your deposit, go with these guys.
3. One of the above people also smoked cigarettes in my indoor lift lobby hallway on the job?!
4. Not in scope for them to unwrap your stuff after unloading. Aside from the bed, we had to cut the cling film off everything else. Also did not follow the written labels for destination room and instructions not to stack fragile boxes.
Pros
1. Punctual and fairly efficient. If you want to get everything done within 1.5 hours they have enough manpower and supplies to do it.
2. The fees included disassembly and re-assembling the bedframe which was convenient
3. They have flexibility for more than one truckload. We had 2 trucks simultaneously which saved time.
4. The main supervisor on the job was actually very nice and patient. Took time to explain the fees breakdown (that perhaps the sales rep didn't when we got quoted).
Suggest you replace your bad apples in the team and this will greatly reduce stress and friction for your customers. Also being more transparent about your pricing upfront.

I would give 5/5 to 12Move. Excellent & professional , no doubt to choose again this mover. Was my first time to use mover & after a weeks of survey I decided to go with 12Move. Deposit paid beforehand & they delivered free boxes on the next day (very efficient) ! They will contact you earlier to follow up.
Slightly delayed on arrival due to some issue (as call given earlier ) but you will be surprisingly every single process went SOOO smooth from the moment they picked up , sealed & handling items very carefully , they made the move process hassle-free. (Most importantly No hidden charge as I read lots of review from some mover they do charge additionally during the day of move & there might be unclear T&C )

TERRIBLE experience
DO NOT RECOMMEND.
These men were rude, greedy and the most unprofessional that I have ever dealt with. They charged us more than 2.5x the amount initially quoted so don’t let them fool you with their low initial estimates cost. They charged $70 extra to push the trolley 10 more meters to the second lift in the hallway. I suggested to carry some boxes myself if it will not fit in the truck - they said they will charge $5 extra per box that I take myself. Then I suggested I will remove the items and they can take back their empty boxes and the man came screaming at me, calling me arrogant.
When they reached the destination, they refused to take all our luggage upstairs, they said we need to pay in full (even for the items not delivered) otherwise they will leave all our luggage downstairs and not deliver the rest. They harassed my dad while he was sick - said they will charge extra to put padding on the lift too! The WORST service EVER!
