I recently had the unfortunate experience of using 12Move for my relocation, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. The initial quote they provided based on the video I submitted was a mere illusion, setting the stage for a series of disappointments and financial surprises. To begin with, the initial estimate for 1.5 truck loads at less than $600 turned out to be a deceptive ploy. On the day of the move, they insisted that my belongings actually required 3 truck loads, effectively doubling the cost to a whopping $1200. It's unacceptable that they failed to accurately assess the volume despite the detailed video I provided. Furthermore, their pricing tactics were shady and inconsistent. While they initially quoted $70 for pushing items to my condo per load, I was blindsided when they demanded $210 per load on the actual moving day. This sudden and drastic increase in charges is not only unfair but also reflects a lack of transparency and professionalism on their part. The ordeal did not end with the move itself. The company's inefficiency became glaringly apparent in their failure to promptly pick up the empty boxes. We were left with the burden of daily follow-ups, as numerous scheduled appointments for box pickup were missed without any prior notice or explanation. This lack of commitment to their responsibilities only added to the stress and frustration of an already arduous moving process. In conclusion, my experience with 12Move was far from satisfactory. From misleading initial quotes to unexpected surcharges, and the negligent handling of post-move arrangements, they exhibited a level of unprofessionalism that I cannot overlook. I strongly advise potential customers to approach this company with caution and consider alternative options to avoid the headaches and financial surprises that I had to endure.

Should have read the reviews before engaging their service. Fair enough when I reached out to them, it was only half load which I thought I needed but then we paid for full load because of more boxes and loose items. When the movers came, the first item we pointed out was our long cabinet wood which we have conveniently placed outside the door for them to take. When they delivered all the other items, the long woods were missing and when we called to ask, they said lorry was full. They insisted they told us lorry was full but that’s a lie. Infact we told them, if the loose items are too many, we would gladly book a 6-seater car to carry those with us. Also, shouldn’t long and big items go in the lorry first? Extremely poor service and communication all around, from Darren to movers!!

Engaged 12move to move my items from home to storage. Based on packing list, photos, dimensions, the salesperson was confident that half a lorry load was sufficient. When the movers came, one full truck load was insufficient and they were unable to accommodate more trips as they have another job scheduled. It was super stressful as I needed to vacate my place on that day. The salesperson remained uncontactable. I was also not informed that I need to sign an indemnity against damages to my belongings due to the move. Overall, a very stressful experience.

Worst service ever! They are a bunch of scammers trying to intimidate people into giving them money. I wish I had read the negative comments earlier. If you want to be yelled at, abused or get racist comments hurled at you, by all means, choose them. They quoted a very low price initially to lure us in. The boxes were supposed to be delivered on a Saturday as we were moving on Thursday. I repeatedly called and messaged and I was constantly ignored. The boxes did not arrive until Monday night. Practically leaving 2 days for us to pack as Thursday 9am was fixed for the move. We had confirmed the total charge to be $280, including the long push charges. The moment they arrived they started making noise about us paying $100 extra for just padding the floor! And the total cost then increased. They wanted to charge $280 just for long push charges along with $180 for 0.5 load. The sales manager Richie was the rudest person and didn’t take too long to start passing racist remarks about Indians. He started using abusive language and calling names. When we said we’ll do the padding ourselves, they wanted to give us only 5 mins to do so, otherwise they would charge us waiting time. And if their people do the padding then there is no time limit for that. They clearly came with the agenda to yell, intimidate and add additional charges, as pointed out by other people in their negative reviews. Even without seeing the other condo and the drop off area, they started saying you need to pay extra for long push. Their sales people are well trained: 1. Give a low quote 2. Stop responding to phone calls the moment you get the deposit 3. Make a big fuss on the moving day and get more money from the clients. Be abusive, rude and racist. Definitely never using them again. What a nightmare!
