I was moving houses while preparing for professional certification exams, hence opted for CYC for a stress free experience. They came across as a premium moving service and I was really happy overall with the service rendered. During the site visit, Rishi was accurate in his assessment, professional and polite throughout, even though I mentioned that it was only one person's worth of items being shifted (RFQ forms don't provide for indicating entire home or part of the home). The quote given was accurate, and he liaised with me throughout from providing the quotation to the day of the move. One surprise was that CYC liaised with the condo MCST to check for bulky item delivery. I had fully expected to do that myself as another mover I asked for a quote from did not mention covering that. Another friend had to do it herself and from what I hear it was a huge hassle. Ahead of the move, I was informed that due to vehicle height restrictions the truck would not be allowed to enter the carpark. With the movers needing to move from outside the condo, I braced myself for hidden upcharges. Those never came, price was exactly the amount quoted. Preparing for the move, the supplies provided are of top quality. The boxes are SO sturdy. I only wrapped my fragile items in two layers of bubble wrap max, nothing broke, all items still in working condition (both boxed and the bigger items that were not boxed). Stacking the boxes, you can barely see them deform. Dines was the supervisor for my move and on the day itself, he called ahead to say he was arriving, and showed up on time. The big items such as sofa, table, and office chair were wrapped with another protective layer between the item and the cling wrap. The movers also handle the objects with care (some small bumps are to be expected). When they assess that the item can't fit normally, they start to adjust immediately without trying to force their way through a few times. Upon reaching the new house, they would ask where to place the box and open the top for you to check the condition. And in the week that followed as I was unpacking, those boxes were still in top condition up to the point of disposal. Couldn't be happier with the move, will definitely consider them again when doing any moves.
