I would like to commend Shalom and their team for the excellent service and smooth move. From the virtual “recce” by Adrian, to the sales team and eventually to the moving team, it was all very approachable and helpful.
The moving team - Khairul, Affendi, Haneef, Vengadash and Heng TM - were wonderful. They were professional, friendly, and also quite humorous. Their light-hearted but hard-working approach makes typically stressful (perhaps, even emotional) moves that much less so.
A very good experience and will definitely choose Shalom again when I need to move in two years’ time! Thank you!

My family engaged Shalom Movers for our house move, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
Initially, everything seemed promising. A representative visited our unit to provide a quotation and even supplied carton boxes for packing. However, when the scheduled moving day arrived, the movers did not show up. We were informed that the lorry had broken down. While unforeseen situations can happen, we accepted the explanation and agreed to reschedule.
On the second scheduled moving date, the movers failed to turn up again. My parents had woken up early and prepared everything in advance. This time, we were told that the owner had encountered some issues and that they would provide an updated timing later that day. Unfortunately, no one arrived, and no proper update was given.
We were then informed that they do not operate on weekends, so we waited until Monday, 15 June 2026, for further updates. Once again, we were told that the lorry had broken down. After that, communication became almost non-existent. We were promised an earlier time slot and assured that someone would follow up, but no one contacted us and no moving service was provided.
What is most frustrating is not the delays themselves, but the repeated no-shows, last-minute excuses, lack of communication, and failure to follow through on commitments. My parents rearranged their schedules multiple times and spent days waiting without any certainty or updates.
Please do not rely solely on the company’s 4.2-star rating when making your decision. Our experience was completely different from what the reviews suggested. Before engaging their services, I strongly encourage potential customers to read through both the positive and negative reviews carefully and look at the company’s responses to complaints.
I also noticed that there appears to be a large number of positive reviews compared to the negative feedback. While I cannot comment on their authenticity, I would advise customers to take the time to read past reviews thoroughly rather than relying only on the overall star rating.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company due to its unreliability, poor communication, and repeated failure to honour scheduled moving arrangements.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING THIS MOVING COMPANY.
First, they said they would call to inform us prior to the moving date. However, we did not receive any call from them at all until the moving date itself.
The movers were not punctual. We tried calling their office several times, but no one picked up. WhatsApp calls were also not answered. We kept trying until someone finally picked up. The office line connection was very poor, and the call quality was intermittent. After about 30 minutes, they finally arrived, completely wasting our time.
At the same time, we were told to email the operations team because they could not be reached directly. Even when calling their office, they would ask us to send an email to the operations team instead, and they refused to forward the message—even though they are in the same company. This is extremely inefficient and unacceptable.
Anyway, this is by far the worst moving experience I have ever had. I hope others see this warning and avoid this company.

I’m impressed and very happy with their service. They are professional, friendly and efficient.They really took extreme care for my costly Mitsubishi inverter fridge. I’ll definitely engage their service again for moving back after the renovations
