I was quoted $800 for delivery of 6 furniture to two different locations, and disposal of another 6 items. On the day of the move itself, I had requested to dispose an additional 2 items and Im willing to top up the fee for it. Shalom Movers took advantage of that and charged me an additional $450!!! How can it be that delivery of 6 items and disposal of 6 items cost a total of $800, but an additional 2 items increased the price by 50%??? Obviously ripping me off!

A very horrible experience.The worst nightmare one can have- our imported table was broken within 15 mins of the arrival of the movers despite us telling them to be careful. The sales person was trying to convince us to take off $50 from the bill. The office later offered $100 compensation. In addition, we have reduced the number of bulky furniture by more than 50% to be moved, yet only less than 10% of the quote was adjusted. We are ok to pay for quality service but not only have we overpaid, our imported table was broken!!!! The worst experience is when we tried to seek a reasonable address from the Company, they staff threatened us.

The movers are very professional in arriving promptly and dismantling all the furniture's, wrapped them and move them safely. They even brought empty boxes and help packed some of the kitchen utensils before moving them out. The movers were efficient and fast, ably segregating the items for the new place and warehouse and moved them out systematically. All the items and boxes arrived at the new place in good conditions and fully accounted for. Highly recommended them.

They have managed to help us with all our customized needs, given us a lot of extra help as well as emotional support!
