Henry was very informative and professional throughout the whole consultation and moving process, and was very responsive to my queries. On moving day, Hafiz and his team were also very punctual, friendly and efficient. Furniture were wrapped and transported carefully, and the whole process took less than 2 hours. Definitely recommend them and will engage them again for any future moving. Thank you Shalom!

Not sure why so many 5 stars given but I have so much gripe hiring Shalom movers and storage services. I engaged this company for moving AND storage and it gave me so much heartache. 1. Poor administrative staff - I had such a hard time communicating with the admin team, and I doubt the staff’s (I’m avoiding naming the person here) PR skills and understanding of the situation. When I knew the date I was moving to my new place, I immediately contacted Shalom and booked a date which was a Saturday. After the date was locked in, a day later, I was contacted my the admin who informed that my MCST put a time limit on their move on Saturday (because MCST works half day) so I have to change date. I was doubtful and immediately contacted MCST and they said as long as the move was quiet and uneventful, I could proceed with the move on Saturday. But alas, the admin staff already gave my date away and now I have to take extra annual leave to book a weekday for the move because of her poor assumption that she could postpone the move day. I told her to fix it but she was unapologetic and insisted she couldn’t do anything about it. 2. Unprofessional storage service - items that weren’t in boxes i.e. sofa, bedframe, fridge ALL HAD MOULD when items were received. According to the admin’s staff email when I enquired about the storage area prior to engaging them, “storage space is well ventilated and cool”. Apparently NOT. I only stored my items for four months and there was so much mould! My husband didn’t want to risk the mould on the sofa infiltrating the house so he asked the movers to help dispose. But when movers contacted the management, management still had the cheek to ask me pay to dispose the sofa. In the first place, their storage caused the mould! Shalom is not cheap but I thought that by paying the “right price”, my items would be cared for! I can’t post pictures of the mould here (not sure why) but I would have if I could! The reason why I still bothered to give two stars is only because of the movers. They were quick, friendly, and gentle. The only people who screwed up were the admin staff and the management. Summary: Will NEVER RECOMMEND Shalom for storage, but it’s not bad for moving.

I shifted house on 6 Nov and had a very good experience using shalom. They were dedicated in their service and have very good attitude. As i have to work in the afternoon, Shalom came a little earlier as requested and managed to complete the job timely and well. Supervisor attending to my job is responsible and well trained. Will use Shalom again next time if needs arises

We chose Shalom Movers as we had very good experience the previous time and this time, they continue to impress us with their professionalism and efficiency. The crew handling our move from office to 3 different locations went on smoothly on 30 May’22. Not only were the crew polite, they worked very fast as a team. I would like to commend Ahmad S, Mubarak, Abdullah N and Mannan for their excellent work. At the same time, we would like to commend their project manager Mr Henry Woon, for responding quickly to our queries and for being patient when changes were made to the move plan.
