My house was part of a collective sale but my new house is still under construction building. As a result, I was in the market looking for a moving and storage company. I did an Internet search for a reliable moving and storage company and came across Shalom. My contact person was Henry and he has been an outstanding representative for Shalom. His service was top notch. He answered all my enquiries in a timely manner. Henry kept all his promises and ensured I received the best service from Shalom. Moving is an emotional and stressful process, he has been very good in helping me to navigate the process and I really appreciate it. During the actual moving, I met Mr. Wang who is such a professional. He and his team have done an excellent job. They treated every item with care. They are friendly, accommodating and helpful. I think Henry and Wang are true brand ambassadors of Shalom as they represent their company so well!

I engaged shalom movers for 6 april.
The whole experience was wonderful. The movers are excellent, professional and very helpful. As i had many loose items, abeit in bags but they surveyed the situation and made quick decisions on how to move without making a fuss or getting fustrated with us. They brought boxes, and moved items into them quickly. We could see they knew what they were doing and were very experienced. They must have seen all kinds of homes to make quick decisions. And i was very impressed.
They also manuevored my massage chair on the second level down the stairs well, without any damage to persons, stairs or chair.
I also liked that they didnt wear shoes into the house even when moving the huge massage chair down the stairs. They also didnt wear shoes into my new flat as well, without asking.
Overall i am very impressed and would love to give more than 5 stars.

After seeing much good review of Shalom Movers, I initially thought they had really improved their service and I decided to use their service again after my horrible experience previously. But honestly, I wasn't putting too much hope this time round as I don't want to get too disappointed if things turned south in the end.
Well... after the move and towards my experience with Shalom Movers, my personal opinion is that their service is still as bad as the previous time I had used them. My parquet flooring was scratched, other small knick knacks got were broken.... I did not raised the alarm to the men doing the move as I remembered the last time I did the move with Shalom Movers, the crew mentioned that the Shalom Movers management will cut their salary for any damages complained from client to compensate to the customer. During my previous move, they were short handed and only came with 4 men. 2 more men came at 4pm to back the morning crew. Imagine 4 men had to slog till mid-noon only to have 2 more men, which had also slogged from other job to further back the morning crew. Moving can be so tedious and back breaking and after some questions to the crew, I get to find out the company were constantly under-staffed. OMG... a big company understaffed and made the crews endure such back breaking job. Because of this, I felt for them thus I decided to keep quiet about the damages and bite the bullet.
I pondered for weeks before I decided to post this. Somehow I felt that the public should get to know about how or what this company is operated especially if you are paying PREMIUM for their service!
Well, long story short... my experience with them moving my house recently is really bad, still the same as previous move. Under-staffed, more manpower came only in the afternoon after their morning job was completed... All the men were so tired. My Oled tv that was bought 2 months back were damaged with a cracked in the centre, parquet flooring got SCRATCHED AGAIN... it was like history just repeated itself... I was totally disappointed and I would definitely NOT recommend to any of my friends at all... I did my handover after moving and my landlord had to hold my deposit for the damages to the floor... I won't blame the crew but the management.
If anyone were to read this review till now, probably you should start reading the other posts and you will find that only a couple of names would appear in their good reviews.. So are they the only good ones in the company or otherwise?? Maybe I am the unlucky one perhaps???
PS to Shalom Movers. I realised there's always a reply with a standard format asking your clients like us to send you an email regarding our complaint. But rest assured that I will not be communicating further with you after this post. I just want to share my thoughts and feelings to the public should they decide to engage your service...

I hating packing and moving with a passion (don't we all?). I sought 4 or 5 quotes and not only was Shalom's competitive but it was also the most comprehensive. They provided a full end to end service, liaising with both condo management teams to satisfy their requirement before moving day. Importantly, Shalom were very transparent in their pricing. The booking process was seamless and friendly. They followed up but weren't pushy about it.
On the day of the move itself, Misters Hassan Mamat, Husin Yunos, Abdul Hak and Razif were organised, efficient and handled my personal belongings with such care and respect. They were also very mindful of my cat who can be stressed out by strangers and change.
At the new apartment, I wasn't sure where to place furniture items and they provided advice and consideration to existing doors/fittings and walk ways which I hadn't even thought about. They placed all the boxes in their pre-designated rooms occasionally double checking with me to confirm.
I had a pleasant moving experience with Shalom Movers and highly recommended them to anyone planning a move.

Just moved few days ago. Mubarak, FL, Mannan in Team B were great. Polite, checks back often and don't assume. Very efficient though they needed their breaks in such a physically demanding job. Very satisfied with their service.
I was surprised by the manpower that shalom provided. And the number of boxes estimated by the video call assessor was spot on.
