So many good reviews around the services provided by Shalom; that one begins to suspect if they live up to it.... i moved house in April 2021 and Shalom ensures that they deserve every bit of the praise u can find
I too was recommended by a friend and did try and check with other options....be it early to respond, best price quoted, best value delivered, Shalom may not be the cheapest, but they definately are value for the money spent
The speed with which they managed the move made the task seam effortless...👍, kudos to the excellent team and i am sure they will continue to do well

Have contracted Shalom to pack, move and unpack for my transfer. The experience was customer friendly from start to finish. Ong had made a visual assessment by WhatsApp on the same day I had made an inquiry. The entire thing was arranged well. The team were courteous, very respectful of the items (esp on pieces I had of religious and sentimental value), efficient and clean. They came in on time at 9 am and everything was all settled by 2 pm considering that I had a lot of things to be moved. They also took away the boxes and packing materials once done and had applied care as to how to fit everything from a bigger space to a relatively smaller space. I will use them again if I were to move.

Was shouted at by a supervisor for wasting his time when I was dispensing the water from my water dispenser, which his colleague advised me to do so. I was too tired to tell him off then. I asked for help to remove a connector from the tap, but the supervisor did not follow-up with me. It would save me a lot of inconveniences for me if I am told that this part was not done.
Other than that, the team was careful with my items and were very professional. All items safely reached my place. One of the movers alerted me about my washing machine and advised me a solution, which saved me a lot of trouble.
For the price, it didn't meet my expectation in terms of the customer service during the move, but the move itself was professional.

I wish I could give them a Zero star as part of the review. All nice and good to start with on the sales front - nice, polite sales guys Ong. But absolutely no coordination between the teams. When I confirmed the move with them, both slots for my day were available, 9am and 2pm. Or if they were unavailable, I was not made aware of it and was given the choice of both slots. But then I get an email from their Operations team saying both slots for my preferred date are taken up. All this within half hour of my confirming my move slot. I was clear about my move date from the very beginning, and in this case there seems like there was no coordination between the sales and the operations team. If you're in the business of coordinating people's moves, the least you can do is coordinate with your own Operations team before offering slots! They claim both slots were taken up for my preferred date within the past half hour since I sent them the confirmation, I find that coincidence hard to believe, and it seems more like a lack of coordination at their end. Horrible service, would not recommend to anyone. Their only response or service recovery was that slots are not confirmed till the Operations team confirms them, and I can move the next day, which doesn't work for me. I'll be moving my business to Asian Tigers, suggest you do the same if you're looking for a mover.
