1 star is too high. These guys deserve a negative star rating. Movers DID NOT use original boxes to transport our computer and monitor. When I insisted, they placed the monitor and the computer in the original boxes WITHOUT the original styrofoam protection (something I missed because I thought using the styrofoam is COMMON SENSE). During transport the SSD hard drive on the computer was dislodged due to this. Movers broke our tower fan in half - they didn't remove the plastic packaging and left in a hurry. Movers didn't count the number of boxes that head out our door and and again count the number of boxes that made it to the destination - resulting in loss of items in one cabinet in our kitchen (which I suspect they put in one box). Movers played with my toddler's stuffed animals and threw it on the floor (whattheheck?). We ended up washing everything that was transported. Shalom didn't respond to any request for resolution until the Consumers Association was brought in to mediate. They then pretend they missed my email, when they never missed my email related to finances and payment. Clearly they have selective eyesight. The next step is the Consumers Tribunal. This isn't the same company (or maybe team) that serviced me back when I first moved house in 2016. That one was so professional. The only thing professional about this one is that they wear matching t -shirts. The management was also unprofessional bordering on unethical. I will never use this company nor recommend them to anyone and I regret engaging them back based on trust and historical performance. If you do end up selecting this company, then make sure you micromanage them and not let them out of your sight. But to be safe, just don't engage them because you never know which team they would assign to you.

While Few of the workers were doing the move out my new Nike sneakers worth 500$ disappear. It was reported to the police! I wouldn’t trust this company.

Two stars for getting the job done, however, not satisfactorily! To start, a box made it out of our place UNLABELLED and was of course not included in the inventory! Serious mistake! Then, I had to repeatedly ask them to re-pack poorly packed items, including three times correct them as they kept ignoring me attempting to pack, in one piece, the ENTIRE dining room table (6 seater-oval) WITH its glass top. Three times! Everytime I left the room they began wrapping it all in one piece. Last, and most offensive, and entire box, pakced by us, of kitchen plates was broken while all other boxes of plates and glass also packed by us were fine. One entire box! Plus a lovely family foto large frame PACKED BY THEM, also shattered but Shalom refuses to take responsibitly for these. Really? Shalom you will need in order to deal with this company if you make the mistake we made in hiring them!

Was recommended by a friend to contact shalom as I needed to move into a new place with my family. They scheduled an appointment with me to see what I needed to move. They were very transparent in informing of all the additional cost that I may have because of the larger items I had to move. I appreciate the honesty of this, which may be lacking from other businesses now a days.
