Two years ago, I hired this moving company and was very satisfied, so I decided to use their services again. This time, I explained that I was moving to the next block and received 20 boxes. The representative told me they would send three workers and that additional charges would apply after two hours. However, on moving day, only two workers showed up. They started at 10:10 AM and finished at 4:10 PM. Two years ago, a truck and seven workers completed the move quickly for $700, but this time, with only two workers, they charged me $1,350, including the cost of disposing of three unusable pieces of furniture. The final amount felt outrageously high. When I asked why they sent only two workers, causing the move to take so long and incur extra charges, they made excuses, saying they worked without even taking a lunch break. Infuriated by their absurd response, I paid the amount but asked them to dispose of some trash on their way out. They simply said they’d pass the message to their colleague and left without doing it. Sending only two workers, taking longer, and charging extra fees is not the behavior of a reputable company. I advise anyone planning a move to avoid this company and get a fair quote from a reliable, established moving company.
